For technical reasons, the user's email address can remain stored in the publisher's database after he has unsubscribed from the newsletter. This enables the publisher to avoid unwanted newsletter re-subscription or reactivation of the subscriber. In this case, the user's email address will be saved as an inactive data record and will never be used for sending any newsletters.

Newsletter statistics & tracking
The newsletters sent contain so-called "web beacons". These are invisible 1x1 pixel images which, when viewed, enable the publisher to determine when the recipient has fully opened the newsletter. The newsletters can also contain so-called "traceable links", which enable the publisher to determine when the user clicks on a link in the newsletter.The aim of this measurement method is not to determine individual user actions, but to collect statistical and anonymous information, which enables the publisher to make the newsletter technically more reliable and more relevant in terms of content.All user-specific measurement data for a newsletter (newsletter delivery, opening signals, click signals) are automatically and permanently deleted after a maximum period of 48 months after the newsletter has been sent.
